Blake lifted his pivot foot after the dribble. It was very clear.

I disagree. His dribble ends when he palms the ball (at 1:13 in the video). His left foot is on the floor and his right foot is off, meaning that his left foot is established as the pivot. He now cannot legally lift that foot and return it to the floor without passing or shooting, which he clearly does. Knight is correct--that is a *traveling* violation.

Bob Knight is correct. This goes for so much of the poor officiating out there when the officials go the opposite way and take over the game for one team or the other.

i dont think that man knows what a "PIVET" is
-
you are right. bob knight is an asshole. Im mad I got into division 1 this year and he retired, i woulda T'd his ass up
-
@zam989s u look close he moves his pivot foot that was a travel
-
I agree traveling gets overlooked, but that's because the officials are focusing on much more important areas like contact by the defender. Unfortunate, but you can't catch everything.
-
watch closely..he lifted his pivot foot.

the second ex. i think its not a travel coz his pivotal foot is still there he only move his other foot to move in front of the rim even if he move his non pivot foot many times oys not a travel haizzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
hansborough does this all the time. he can't do it in the NBA b/c u have to build ur friendship with the refs in the NBA. He's nothing now b/c the NBA refs hate him .
The second example (Griffin) wasn't a traveling violation. (NOT a "WALKING VIOLATION") He pivots legally and jumps off his non-pivot foot. Nothing wrong at all.
