Very interesting. Some students and I at the University of Texas at Austin and Texas State at San Marcos have been working on a sport chair omni-directional stationary wheelchair treadmill with virtual reality navigation, search "Trekease" videos on youtube. I sold one device overseas, but we are perfecting a more affordable version for home use. Our basic device could be left outdoors since there are NO bearings or non-stainless steel parts to rust.
