@saxaphone1987 The concept of the 7 veil dance ending in nudity is a western construction; more specifically, it was created by a Chicago cabaret group (strippers) after they had seen a traditional African dance using the veils at a show. The traditional dance does not end in nudity, and in most instances, the costumes under the veils don't even show the stomach. The stomach showing is another contribution of the Chicago cabaret group. Or at least, that's what my belly dance teacher tells me.

I just finished counting and she removed all 7 veils! The performance was really good and I like that she removed all the veils without becoming naked!

Really ..? I havent seen anyone execute the moves, have that much sensuality and stamina as her . To complete a long set with many variations of veil, shimmy, isolations floor wok as her!!! Show me somone that great!!
