@rjpsuh06 Also 'D.C. Follies' seen at the very end of the clip only ran between 9/26/87 and 9/1/89 and I remember this commercial being on TV in late summer/fall 1987 so this is probably from Oct 1987.

Lynn Swann lost a bid for Pennsylvania Gov. as a GOP back in '06. What if Espn or ABC were bought seperately? How would they divvy the personel's contracts? Would Mike Breen be at ABC? What about Mike Tirico? Or Brent Musburger?

@repoob I would geuss Donna DeVorona is the brunette, she worked for them back then. Though I don t believe her hair wasn't always that dark. Btw- nice to see that little piece with Chris Shenkel throwing the confetti. So him in person in Milwaukee covering the Miller Lite Bowling Championship in '87. A class act.

This should be 1987 because Dan Dierdorf, the guy on the right at 0:22 worked at CBS until Super Bowl XXI in Jan. 1987. Also Gary Bender, on the right at 0:40, worked the 1987 NCAA Tournament for CBS before moving to ABC later that year. Also, the ABC Sports logo in 1986 resembled that of the ABC News logo.

Thanks for that bit of detail. I pegged it as late '86 based on the other programs on that tape but it could very well be '87.
