I agree. Michelle Garcia Winnner is awesome. I just went to her conference to help my son. Her website is Social Thinking.

This is my favorite! You tell 'em, Anthony!

He is so adorable! Very dramatic.. :)
Sounds like Michael hurt his feelings, so your son's anger is totally understandable...

Sorry I missed this post. Thank you for your positive feedback. He's actually in a new school and doing quite a bit better. Still a day-to-day struggle, but we're using social stories, and that's helping to remind Anthony of how to respond and regroup. :o)

He is so adorable! It's so cute to hear him talk (this coming from a mom with a son who does not talk).

@prettyfinds Thank you. :o) That was a very tough day. We have our good days and bad days. Today after a 2 hour car ride he screamed out "My butt is so hard I can't fart that easy!". So there's that!! How old is your little guy? I'm sorry he has no speech. It's tricky enough to communicate with them when they DO have speech. I wish you all the best. :)

This was a good video. My son 6 yrs is Aspergers/Autistic. We have him in a social skills group that uses Michelle Garcia Winners "Unthinkables" circulum. My son responds to it really well and I think your son would benefit from it too. She has made up different good/bad superheros that help explain and different behaviors and how to respond to them. I also use social stories and guided playdates.
It's not easy but you are doing a great job, keep it up.
