@GlobalMusicStage This is is DJ software so you can play live, which FL Studio doesn't do. Plus, it's easier to interact with this machine since everything is so simple and well-placed, but it's REALLY multifunctional. FL Studio needs effects to be placed one by one, which is kinda crappy. But it's DEFIANTLY overpriced, you're right about that

Frankly, if you seriously wanted to be making music, you'd be asking these questions in a Sam Ash or Guitar Center instead of any random fuckwit on YouTube. I'll answer you honestly, though. You'll need a DAW (Ableton Live, Logic, Reason, etc.) and some kind of interface (Some type of MIDI keyboard like the AKAI MPK49 would be ideal). Then learn some piano. Then learn to program synths and apply/chain audio effects to shape your sound.

@pirateradio808 This thing doesn't have all the capabilities Reason has and the UI, both physical and graphical, is horrendous. It also sounds like it has a pretty mediocre build quality.

@ltlrenati Or a time machine. The dubstep fad is going to be over before you become a competent producer or DJ. Unless you mean actual dubstep or one of the emerging post-dubstep styles as opposed to brostep. I'm not being snarky or shitty. The genre is saturated, it's not evolving, and the base it markets itself to is the type to get bored and move on to the next trend. Just study all different types of electronic music and forget about what's "popular". Worry about what's good.

@Meutecee agreed, it's a really nice especially if it can run on batteries, but indeed nothing new (rapman, roland mc09, korg EM), also shouldnt be so expensive....

this little beast is dope but the price is out of this world, price too overcharged, too marketing behind this product dear teenageenginering including the cute colors of this tool......the white "Apple" is really suitable for products with overcharged prices.
