I hope 40 is the new 30 then.... I remember the Crawford shoot. It makes me laugh when she is interviewed and its mentioned, she seems to drift off with a smile on her face. Don't hear much about her current love but then I think she likes a bit more privacy these days. I think Leisha broke her heart. Yep you're right about the prioritising though. That's the joy of motherhood!

It was Joan I was referring to as an OAP not K.D.! Although they say that 60 is the new 50! I think that K.D was very sexy before she gained a couple of extra love handles- remember that picture of her being shaved by Cindy Crawford? I saw her in concert during the Invincible Summer tour when she was dating Leisha Hailey and she was positively glowing and radiant- shame they split shortly after as she seemed so happy. You sound like a very good sister and parent btw with your prioritising :)

Don't tell me I missed the meet and greet too. Next time I see her I am not taking the kids or a heavily pregnant sister whom I escorted back to the tent like the lady I am. I wouldn't class her as an OAP, I am fast approaching a big birthday myself. I have loved her since the 80s, I am showing my age. She looks fantastic but I must admit I think she looked fantastic in around 2000, especially when she recorded Invincible Summer. Check out the video clip for Summer Fling, its a great watch.

What a place to spend your birthday though! I expect it's one he'll never forget. She went straight to the Mojo tent to meet and greet afterwards and I got some good photographs, she's quite incredible for an 'OAP'...her voice is as good as ever. I too am bemused by the idiotic remarks made about K.D. Lang, all they can ever criticise her for it seems is her androgenous appearance - some people are just incredibly stupid and shallow and if they ever met her they'd probably need a nappy change!

I missed Joan Armatrading, the rain was just too bad and it was my little boy's birthday so we were sat in the tent with a soggy birthday cake! She sounded great though.

i listen to the folk fest from my back garden every year but really want to go on day !

I love it when Ms Lang dances, she is so funny and that 'ho down' piece she did was brilliant. I had to listen to Hallelujah from the blooming toilet nearby after consuming too much Guinness! (I couldn't believe the timing - that and constant craving are two of my favourites)

I thought that she and Joan Armatrading were my highlights.
You get discount as well!!!! Can I have you local ticket next year?
