In partnership with FaveDiets ( http://www.FaveDiets.com ) recipe site, I am creating an Atkins Diet Quick Hits in the Kitchen series. I may have featured some of these cooking techniques or methods in other recipes, but I wanted a single spot to refer someone when I get asked specific question like "Where do you get your flax meal?" Previously I had to refer them to a recipe video that may have included this method as part of cooking the meal, but it wasn't as clear as I would have liked it.

This episode addresses one of the questions that I might not have originally thought I had. Is there a better way to cook bacon than the standard method - in a frying pan with or without a weight to keep it flat. In this method of baking it for 20-25 minutes at 375 degrees, it produces perfect each and every time. I might take a little longer upfront, but it truly is "set it and forget it" cooking.
