  • Have always loved this bouncy little tune with the cute (but not 'cutesy') lyrics. It tells a simple and charming story and the ensemble performance of the Chordettes is superb, as usual. Their singing style is so similar to that of the Maguires that it would have been interesting to see the 2 groups perform together, perhaps sharing a medley of the hits of each. Just a thought.

  • It just occurred to me, after hearing this (yet) again and noting your comment above about the word 'See-ee-cretly', that you might also enjoy hearing the big hit by Jimmie Rogers, (same year) called 'Secretly'. It was/is another delightful and romantic tune.
