why did claire danes play Vanessa Redgrave as a younger women. Why not Natasha Richardson lol. Considering she is her daughter. Would have made more sense, like Mammi is playing Meryl
what a lame interview! poor Mamie! I don't think I would like to be interviewed about my mom's work instead of mine :S I know it's hard not to compare, but Mamie should be given a chance to show her talent not just be asked about her famous mom.
I know... it's hard to be in Mamie's shoes.. I know I wouldn't like the junket interviews for MY movie to turn all about my mom and stuff instead of the movie or my own talent. SUCKS.
Does she not like it when people want to talk about her mom instead of her. If Meryl Streep was my mom it wouldn't brother me. I'll welcome it. Her family name may get her foot into the door, but at the end of the day it's her talent and not her mother that's going to have to stand out.
thats true. but she didnt have her mother and did have talent..she might not have gotten this far.theres lots of talkented people out there..a famous mom gets you far(if u have talent)
But where did she get her talent? Some from learning, but Meryl has said before that you have to be born with it. It was gay that they spent half the interview talking about her mother, but I think that they should have addressed it.
