A glitch that I accidentally discovered while playing Gears of War 2 randomly.
My intention was to drown in the blood at the end of this chapter and see if there was a cutscene or something.
I had just tried a few times and failed at The Big Push on Insane (damn Brumak) and I went here to drown myself for failing so miserably. XD
(Strangely, once I exited The Big Push, the game registered me completing Rolling Thunder, even though I never got past the Reaver there. Awesome, I don't have to do that part! XD)
I ended up walking backwards to the part you enter the area in, and that's what the key to this glitch is.
Act: 2
Chapter: Intestinal Fortitude
When: At the end, the heart with the four arteries
Difficulty: I did it on Casual, but I would assume that it's still possible on all other difficulties, maybe the blood kills you instantly if it reaches head level?
How?: Cut some of them, but not all of the arteries, and just walk around and waste time.
To do the glitch, just walk backwards. This, for whatever reason, will cause you to gain height and keep at waist level above the blood, allowing you to not worry about drowning while you go for the last artery.
You can do whatever you want above blood level, as long as you don't walk forwards and drown, you can take as long as you want.
Walking forwards while the blood is at maximum height will cause Marcus to look like he's walking down a staircase and inevitably, into the pool of blood.
Walking sideways keeps you at the level you are currently on, which can help you keep track of your surroundings.

UPDATE: 28/11/2008
After some more screwing around, I found that it is possible to do this glitch in the other two heart rooms as well.
I would have mentioned this in the voiceover in this video if I had tried it in the other areas.
I used to go and cut the arteries as fast as possible because I was simply trying to beat the game (naturally), but when I was playing around last night, I took my time getting to the second artery at the first heart.
I found out that drowning in blood is as possible and as easy to do at the first and second hearts as it is in the third.
Quite a nice little exploit that negates the need to worry about a timed death trap.

I didn't need to focus on what I was doing when my camera doesn't record sound and only 30 seconds at time.
If you just want to see the video, then just turn the volume off. I appreciate you not being over-the-top and obnoxious about the fact that I did commentary on this video, but I think that if you don't like a video, just don't watch it.
Thank you for the constructive criticism, though.
