Great Job on the rescue. I have the classic 90lb per hand and they were the best investment in fitness equipment I have ever made. I am looking at them right now as I type this. I Love them. What can I say, a gym the size of a couple of shoe boxes just works for how I like to work out: whenever I feel like it.

I originally had a pair of Ironmasters and paid nearly $1,000 for them, including the 120lb add-on kit. After working out with these for a couple years, I bought a used set of Powerblock ProRexans on Craigslist for $200. I've never looked back. I sold my Ironmasters, and now exclusively use Powerblocks.
Your ProRexans look great. You did an unbelievable job in restoring them. I notice you opted for the dark gray instead of the original black. Very very nice.....

Hi, I have just got a pair of rusty power block Elite which I want to restore. Can you please tell me how did you get the rust out? Did you use sandpaper and then color it again?
Thanks.

@arindb
I used a little hand held mouse sander by Black and Decker. I also sandblasted them but my sandblaster is not very powerful so I only used it once I got the majority of rust off with the mouse.
The paint I used is Krylon Rust Tough HAMM-R finish which gives it a nice rugged finish.

where did you get the stickers from that say powerblock.

@amen360
I called the company (number is on their website) and asked if they sell the stickers and colored sleeves for the blocks. It was around $8.00 for the whole kit so I am sure the sticker alone can't be more than a couple bucks.
I also needed the 2.5lbs adder weights which they don't show listed on the website. If I remember correctly, those are only $5.00 each.
They have really awesome customer service. Call them, I am sure they will gladly help with anything you are looking for!

I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 4. It's about time to upgrade to the latest version.
