Two versions of the 1930s hit "So many memories", the first recorded in the 1930s by Leslie Hutchinson; the second recorded in the 1950s by Billy Reid and his Accordion Band. Placed together with photography from Britain from the 20s to the 40s.
I have to correct you Billy Reid and his Accordion band, vocal Dorothy Squires recorded this between 1936-38 not in the 50s as you state. This hutch version is a delight, thanks for sharing...
Enjoyed the song. So many people have memories of those years during the war. I meet up with 2 evacuees regularly and tis tune reminds me of them. My father was an evacuee and so this track is sentimental...thanks
