@torgomax My Fenix LD20 is 1 year old plus and it's working fine. No flicking issue. Is your Fenix Flashlight still giving you issue?

@fallout3geek Thank you. I do see the value in the Surefire lights. I have 2 on me at all times when I'm working. They are the best tactical lights available in my opinion. I can't wait for the new ones to come out so I can upgrade again.
Thanks for watching and commenting.

Glad to see someone, especially a police officer that sees the value in purchasing a surefire flashlight over a cheaper light like a fenix. I feel the same way
Stay safe!

@omiss2006 Surefire makes a few different lights that are rechargeable. If I was going to go for a rechargeable light it would probably be one of their lights. As for regular (household) batteries, there are many flashlights to choose from. Depending on what the primary use for the light is going to be, would depend on what type, and brand of light I would purchase. For tactical lights I trust my life to Surefire. For around the house I suggest any quality light that's not going to break easily.
Did your surefire E1B ever flicker while in use?
I have a Fenix LD-20 and it flickers sometimes even with new batteries in it...that really makes me mad since this light is 6 months old.
I should have gone with Surefire . Thanks for the review!

@torgomax My light has never flickered. The light works fine, the beam holds well. I have never had a problem with any of the Surefire lights I have owned. Thank you for watching.

Do you have to use surefire brand batteries to keep from voiding the warranty?
torgomax 1 year ago
@torgomax I do not believe that you have to use Surefire batteries. I use them for two reasons: First they make the batteries, they make the lights. They know what their product needs and they make the batteries to fit those needs. Secondly, if you purchase the batteries from Surefire they are the least expensive I have found anywhere. You SHOULD NOT USE the cheap foreign made CR123 batteries. They are not mad to proper specs and have been known to melt or even explode.
