I've been taking Tae Kwon Do for about 3 1/2 years and I have an interest in Hwa Rang Do as well.

best title for a video in a long time! love seeing this once little known art reemerge with such an energetic and talented artist. my first experience in the arts had it's roots in Hwa Rang Do, so i am enjoying these videos very much, thank you for sharing.

I have a Black Belt in Japanese JuJitsu and have studied Tang Soo Do as well.
I have read all your books with Mr. Enchanis (RIP) years ago and they are great.

Arm break reminds me of a san soo kung fu move i learned. I guess to be technical though one can learn many ma with techniques of similarity after all isn't it one family of arts but they all have different roots are is it one family with different branches? I guess that's for the prospective student to find in his are herself.

I love this weapon!!! I am a police and corrections defensive tactics trainer with over 20 years of martial arts training experience (Tae Kwon Do/Hapkido/Judo). I would love to find some instructional material regarding the "dan-bong" (ie: books, tapes, cd's, etc.) as far as non-lethal striking, joint locks and control holds are concerned. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
