NO problem with the fat being used to fuel a car.
Why the hell not. As far as I'm concerned the second that person paid to have it sucked out of them, they relinquish their rights to it.

I'm for finding something other than salt because that can actually damage your car but depends how much they use and how frequent you drive in Minnesota you might have to buy a car every 3-4 years because it just gets eaten up by the salt

salt is awful for the environment. the california central valley, which if it were a nation would be the largest food producer in the world, is swamped with salt- it destroys the soil and renders large tracts of farmland useless. also, any vehicle with chains or ice spikes will be able to use the roads.
