  • @ladybluluv well it was set in the '50s

  • @Smartboy8877 lets see if 50 years from now people are still watching Mad About You. the honeymooners started nearly 60 years ago and people are still watching and laughing to this very day.

  • the flintstones were the character models from the honeymooners

  • @Dragonfly10192002 Unbelievable - that poster thinks Reiser and Hunt were better together than Gleason and Meadows.

  • @Dragonfly10192002

Not in my opinion! In my book, Helen Hunt is the most beautiful woman ever and "Mad About You" is the best series ever! Not that the "Honeymooner" does not have is merit. The last thing that I would want to be accused of is finding fault with the "Honeymooners".

  • @Smartboy8877 "''Almost' as well as Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt" ????? Gleason and Meadows comptetely blow the the two of them out of the water.

  • @charger19691

In my opinion, these two worked almost as well together ad Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt from "Mad About You"! I guess you could say that they pioneered the happily married couple genre.

  • @ladybluluv - You're right - it is sexist. In every episode, it's the man (Ralph) who's shown he's always wrong, and the woman (Alice) who's always shown she's right. How sexist can you get?

  • This episode in my opinion starts out so funny then ends so heartfelt and pure. How could any man not love Alice? Gleason and Meadows had excellent on screen chemistry. This episode proved that. Thanks for posting this treasure! Long live the Honeymooners!

  • Alice is so sweet I'd marry her anytime
