Sharks are used to nice soft juicy fish. When they nibble on a human leg they get a mouthful of bone. And yes they DO lose interest, but of course in those few seconds, the leg looks like it went through a woodchipper.

Oh yeah i forgot to mention that I am a PADI certified Dive Instructor and I have dived with sharks. Next to snakes, they are the most misunderstood animals in the animal kingdom.

If you walked into a total stranger's house uninvited and started looking at and touching all his stuff and he walks in holding a gun and catches you, what do you think is gonna happen? He's adequately equipped and well within his rights to fuck you up any which way he wants and chances are if you don't get out of there pronto, you're dead meat. @PachoVila If telling it like it is makes me a fool then yeah i guess i am a fool. The point i was trying to make was that we must be mindful that sharks, like all animals act on instinct and when we go exploring in their territory, it must be with the utmost respect for what they are and what they can do to us if they think we're a threat, or if they get curious and decide to get an up close view and a taste test.

Great Whites are totally badass. They'll fuck you up at the drop of a hat. Humans must taste like shit to a shark cos they never eat humans. They'll just bite you, fuck you up good n proper n then lose interest n just leave you to die. Not their fault really. The ocean is their teritorry. Every human that has ever been attacked was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

They're peaceful, yet very dangerous animals. You can swim with them, you just have to know how to behave around them.
