@PwninKonan definitly stick to the original OVA series, "Giant Robo the animation the day the earth stood still" you can buy it for like 12 bucks on right stuf, best 12 bucks you will ever spend in your life. then watch Imagawa's remake of Tetzujin 28 and Mazinger Z

RahXephon is still a classic too, but the ending felt rushed to me, Giant Robo also seems interesting, but at least it isn't...dare I say it...Naruto.
-
If it doesn't have GinRei, I'll pass.
-
never mind, I found some one on youtube thats posting it with subs!
-
any one know where I can watch this show?
-
if only they had an english dub of this, i would definitely watch it.
-
Is any of this availble anywhere to watch in it's entirety?

The OVA was based on the general works of Yokoyama Mitsuteru. This show is actually based on the original Giant Robo story, as written by Yokoyama.
So those looking at this hoping it continues where the OVA left off, you are out of luck. Those looking for an adaptation of Yokoyama Mitsuteru's original work seem to be in for a treat however, much like with Tetsujin 28 2004.

Is it just Daisaku and Robo? Where are the Experts of Justice?
-
the show is quite good though i only watched the first episode in hong kong and now back in UK
No experts o Justice? No BiG Fire? No Tower of Babel? i always wanted to know what happened after the day the earth stood still? my curiosity beckons!

It looks like Rahxephon with Giant Robo added in.... which completely sucks. I mean, it's hard to find truly decent (and watchable) anime now-a-days and Giant Robo: the Animation is an unknown gems hidden away by the wave of horrible pop culture cliches that Japan loves to batch up. This just looks bad...
