ALTC - 1 On 1

WARNING! This is the entire, 20+ minute movie of a complete LTTO 1ON1 game (hosted by a Tag Master Blaster). There has been NO EDITING. That means no music has been added, and none of the boring bits have been cut out or sped up. Also, the anti-shake on the camera was off, so there is more motion than usual for my tagger-cam movies. If you are subject to motion sickness or seizures, maybe you shouldn't watch this.

So, anyway, like I said, this is the whole game. By watching this, you have a complete, first person view of the game, including me being an idiot in a few places. Unfortunately, since the camera was not zoomed at all, it is common for the target to not be visible in the movie.

Please, enjoy it only for what it is, and not what it could have been. ;-)

nah. just do a few light coats, and mask of the lenses, dome, and screen and you should be fine. It's BEST to gut it and paint the empty shell, but that can be tricky. I know a lot of people who have just painted it and been fine.

probably but maybe a longer range on the rocket and a better pump, but other than that those are all the improvements i could think of. will spraypainting a deluxe gum it up?

Nope. The circuit/programming just isn't in there. You'd have an easier time putting Deluxe guts into a TMB shell than trying to ADD HUD circuitry to a TMB. TMB already has special LEDs for Lock on and stuff just above the screen. If you really want those in your eye, you could pull them out and run some wires up to something like a HUD.

Personally, I'm just surprised it's that important to anyone.

yes i wonder if you could mod a tmb to use the HUD.

No. Only the Deluxe has the HUD port, so only the Deluxe can use it. It's a gimmick anyway. Once you learn the sounds, you don't need the HUD at all. Besides, it's really uncomfortable. most players stop using it after a couple games.
