I have this preamp.Its a nice rig.I also have vintage and modern heads. The youtube trolls like Mrguitarandvocals that are musicaly retarded, have nothing better to do but surf and knock gear all night while bone swapping in moms basement!! Sounds good!!

@tonysarrio1 I agree ... I am running three JMP-1s, 2 9200s and one 9100 in my studios. Love the extra headroom the 9200s (100/100 ... that is 8 - 5881 power tubes) give. Cheers!

are those tones purely from the pre and power amp or are you using effects aswell?

Save your money and buy a tube head - rack gear is nothing but headaches - a good tube head modded by voodoo amps will get you your tone -most modelers are pretty much a smokeshow blowjob

@DKxSLIPKNOTxDK these unit are for something different, fur man is a power conditioner, el34 50/50 is a power amp.

what are your clean settings? I own a jmp1 and have trouble getting a good clean tone.

@LEATHERFACERETURNS Ive owned my JMP-1 since 1993,..it can emulate most vintage and modern amps no probs,....i have my marshall power amp on max and the JMP-1 on about 35/40% and it sounds the bizz,..it has 2 No ecc83 valves.
