Flatt & Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys, recorded this in 1959. This is Buck "Josh" Graves on the Dobro, he was a member of the Foggy Mountain Boys from 1955 till the band split up in 1969. I like Bluegrass wrapped in Rockabilly or the other way round. Bands like the Dixieland Drifters, Mike Miller & Jack Casey, or Pete Peters.

  • Definitely one of my favorites too! IMHO Flatt and Scruggs were by far at the top of the game then and still are my favorite group. Always loved that sound at Bradleys studio! Joe Zinkan doing some mighty fine bass work on this cut too :)

  • A timeless and beautiful trademark song by the incredible Uncle Josh Graves & Earl Scruggs. I never had the pleasure of meeting you Josh, but you were a wonderful & sweet person & I love you. CCDG
