Nissan Concept Car. Nissan Denki Cube. The all-electric Denki Cube is just a concept, but Nissan has plans to sell a gasoline-powered version in the U.S. as soon as 2008. The cute Denki Cube packages everyday practicality with extreme environmentalism, drawing its power solely from a bank of laminated lithium-ion batteries that Nissan claims deliver more power, energy and stability than conventional batteries. Slightly longer than the production Cube currently sold in Japan (the wheelbase is stretched eight inches to accommodate the battery pack), the electric-version is set enter fleet sales in 2010 and be available to consumers as early as 2012.
