Mine isn't that bad; icky hardware in there? It's new technology, not perfect. I have my x7501 in a rather bulky and not-as-well-fitting-as-you-might-expect-from-Piel-Frama case (surprisingly bad), and I don't have to fudge with it. If it helps, you need to make sure the right side of the keyboard is low enough (so the angled edges are flush, or close enough).
The word "MicroDrive" however, has become a cuss in my current vocabulary.

yea dude...same iz with my advantage...the screen wont come on cept wen u move the keyboard cover sidewards!!
