By the import laws, no it is fine it is legal, but that does not mean that customs won't come up with a line of nonsense so if they decide to be wankers then you will have to fight them on it and force them to comply with the law. Australia does have some really harsh customs laws on this sort of thing and the customs agents seem to be real arseholes on things.
