@Norix17 Even though I question and outright have no respect on an institution that bases its justification in faith and ignorance, I respect you for putting down your faith within government affairs. You sir are what a christian should be. Christian at home. Rational at work.

@ZenPhilosopher123 I don't support gay marriage, I support the rights this country is supposed to afford everyone and the agency God gave man. For me faith and reasoning work together. My faith in God and that ability to choose for myself strengthens my reasoning. Who am I to tell someone they can't choose to marry someone when God gave them the freedom to make that choice?
I wish I had more room to expand on this all, but that is the condensed reason behind my stance.

@Norix17 Wow! Even though I love your justice. I would really like to know how you still have faith even though you support gay marriage? Do you not believe in the scripture and only in a creator? How can you separate your faith and reasoning?

This is not over, they'll be back. = gold.

Religious beliefs is a CHOICE you make for yourself to support your life according to religious teachings. I am an atheist, this is my CHOICE that I have maid and I don't care what religious beliefs people hold about marriage. If I want to marry a man I want to marry him, period. Why should someone else's belief and lifestyle choices affect my life? I am not denying someone to marry because my atheistic belief does not correspond with someone else's.

An Austrian bodybuilder as State Governor of California.

He was the best Governor we had.
I am so sick of people quoting the bible on subjects like this. I am a Christian, I go to church weekly, I read my scriptures every day, and I pray at least once a day. With that said, I also live in the USA, a country that was formed on the idea of a separation of Church and State. You don't have to like it, but the ability for gay's to at least be recognized under a civil union should be a very basic right. Scripture should hold NO power over our legislature, like it or not.
