I love the DOHC 5.0, I feel like it's the best use of displacement since the 426 hemi back in the 60's and early 70's. But right behind the DOHC 5.0 and 426 hemi on my list of badass engines is that screaming 427 in the c6 z06, it's a fucking force to be reckoned with. Forget the zr1 or gran sport, the C6 z is where it's at when you're talking about buying a vette. I'm not much of a GM man either but that 427 deserves a spot in my top 3 favorite American engines.

@racermark2000... Good call on that. I know there's a big weight difference but if it has that much power it should overcome the difference. Not the true numbers for the cars or cobra driver has no clue how to drive that car

That was weird, I've seen less powerful Cobras do alot better than that, I think 4.10s with that kind of power and torque is a bad combination IMO

No way that cobras is 715 rwhp. If it was this wouldn't even be a race. Got left like it was sitting still. I'm a mustang guy all the way, but i know a ass beaten when I see one. And that was a good example.
