Battle: Los Angeles Movie Review (Starring Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez)

I like that one movie where Michelle Rodriguez played a tough chick. Maybe you should just see Amanda Seyfried in The Red Ridding Hood, although I hear that is crap as well. Really, this is not a good weekend for movies. Stay home and rent something you like. Or, how about this, play Battlefield Bad Company. OR...listen to Battlefield by Jordan Sparks. Really, Just not seeing anything would be better than seeing this movie. Think about it, you have to go ALL THE WAY to the theater just to watch a sub par shaky cam hack fest. I'll tell you a great battlefield related thing to do, play Battlefield Vietnam, the 2004 game. Probably my favorite fps of all time, everything from the era appropriate music to the multiplayer gameplay is absolutely perfect.

Maybe Mars Needs Moms is a good movie...although I doubt it.

Anyone putting this movie down has their head stuck so far up their arse it's unreal. Nowadays when one dumb-arse self righteous intellectually void and out of touch so called critic puts a movie down, it seems a whole army of brown tongs have to follow suit. Some people lose touch, Blockbusters are all about popcorn room shaking visual entertainment, yet films like Dogville get top ratings and although acting & story's ok would you really pay hard cash to see it in the cinema? vergil443's right

In my opinion the movie was about combat leadership. What you are calling Military cliche' is what was I had to do through my Marine Corps career, make timely decisions. There was no right or wrong answer,you had to make them quick or your Marines will lose cofidence. The portrayal of the Marine SSgt. was that example, he and the LT had to lead thier Marines and even when a error was made the had to continue the mission.Only poeple who had a Military carrer that I talked to understod this film.

I . COULD . NOT . AGREE . MORE. It was bothering me right from the start. I do think that it is okay when done right (Cloverfield, District 9), but just using it to add a documentary feel, is horrible. I have never cringed my face more when they try to stick corny sentiment in it.
