If I remember rightly was on augie snchez vs naseem hamed undercard. Ward was huge at this weight and was always strong but he seemed to be blowing early on and his shots wernt as accurate and lacked snap, wonder if he was weight drained or over trained or something?? Diaz was awesome in this fight remember thinking he will win a big title but met a Gr8 fighter in Shane Mosley and never seem the same again

Hell of a fight. It's easy to forget how hot of a prospect Diaz was. Then he gambled by rising in weight to fight Mosley which deflated him. Then Margarito beat him (illegally perhaps) and he faded soon after.

@harlemboi24 He was just made of stone. You could hit him anywhere. It wouldn't do a thing. I think he just learned how to completely tune out pain. He immunized himself to getting hurt.
