This stupid plastic piece, is just a lauzy, zero-quality version of the "tornavoz effect".

@cortassix I get what you are saying. It records 'cleaner'.If you need that, I understand how in a mix you 'may' want a tighter, midrange sound.

But it doesn't have FULLER sound as advertised.(Not on my guitar) I dont care about playing a 'dense pop mix'. I play the guitar just to play it, so I want bass! (thats why I bought an all solid mahogany acoustic) Moving the mic around can add of subtract bass.I think POSSIBLY the size of the hole on an acoustic is just too big to use a plastic PORT with. The hole on an acoustic is the perfect size for good sound, it was never intended to have a PORT stuck in.IMHO

@1701mcfly: True, the "fuller sound" is BS but man, it is like 20$, so I never expected it to be that magical... I know it can be useful for the things I do so I can't complain and you're right the acoustic guitar was there before the o-port, but that said I think it is a cool accessory and worth the investment.. imo.

Sounds much better WITHOUT to my ears

@1701mcfly: I know, but if you have a dense pop mix, I think I'll be glad to have a "natural" way of getting rid of the boomy low mids, instead of eqing the guitar. but sure just the guitar by itself sound weaker. :D
