@bbphnix The same way the whole marvel universe exists. BTW I was using hulk as an example of bad science not good science. What about the beginning of hulk, what about the beginning of anything supernatural related. That is the whole point, it is supernatural ergo, it can't happen in real life but can in the world of comics, books, tv shows, films etc. Find me anything that doesn't screw with the fundamental aspects of science which is comic book related.Even Batman does with impossible gadgets

the Hulk is awful scientifically;

I know they're just entertainment, but what can I say that's how I am built! if they don't respect fundamental aspects of science, it really ticks me off!

by far the part that annoys me the most is when they don't respect the most basic law. Lavoisier's law of nothing being created or destroyed in nature but transformed; in other words... how does an 80-90 kg guy like Banner turn into 1000 kg Hulk without eating the same amount!?

It's funny how much I respected the science in these cartons when i was title; with the scientific information I know now.... I can safely declare them.... total crap, at least the science part....

New Isotope, stronger than plutonium? okay..... OF WHICH ELEMENT? you have isotopes of elements; like isotopes of carbon oxygen.....

that's like the tip of the iceberg regarding the science in these..... really the very tip...

look at the premise of spider-man: mutant human0spider from RADIATION?
