www.e-motorclassics.com AAMC's 1967 Yenko Camaro RS/SS is a highly restored replication of an original Yenko, built and certified by All American Muscle Cars, Ltd. (AAMC). The Original Camaro 1967-1969 Restorer's Guide and interviews with other Yenko owners were used for reference in the building of the AAMC 1967 Yenko Camaro RS/SS. Jim Stubbing, who is a dealer in all original Camaro OEM parts was our main source for obtaining most of the original Yenko parts used on our Yenko Camaro. These premium priced components include the original OEM Yenko Stinger hood and all 427 and Yenko badging.

Built with all new technology and performance and packaged within a totally restored replication of a 1967 Yenko Camaro. The AAMC 1967 Yenko Camaro RS/SS replica is built with utmost attention to original detail. What makes this vehicle unique is the blend of originality with new modern technology and performance. The powertrain, drivetrain, and chassis are not original but instead re-engineered with the latest technology, performance, and handling that you would find in today's late model high performance vehicles. All the new components are engineered to closely model the original part appearance as it was in its original state with only minor modifications where performance improvements were made.

The exterior and interior looks appear original with the exception of different wheels and brakes. All the interior touch points appear original except for the digital gauge display housed in the original I/P cluster. Other than those enhancements, this vehicle looks stock. The intent was to introduce the technology where needed without taking away from the originality. Once you strap yourself in and take a test drive all bets are off that you are driving an original 1967 Yenko Camaro but instead a 2005 modern day version of an all new Yenko Camaro that looks original but will outperform most late model performance cars.

  • You people are stupid. READ THE DESCRIPTION. This is clearly a restoration vehicle, built to replicate a Yenko Camaro..not to BE a Yenko. RS is, was, and likely always will be nothing more than an appearance package..so yes an SS can be an RS. And for you tools trying to say a Yenko Camaro can't be an SS "because it's a Yenko" need to realize Don Yenko purchased Camaro SS's for his dealership and THEN put the 427 in them...that's all.

  • @TheBulldawg4life Thank you for so eloquently writing what people pretending to know something without all the facts needed to hear.

  • theres no such thing as a yenko rs/ss an rs ss is a diff modle so is the yenko get ur facts strt!!

  • The existence of this car certainly means it exists. Philosophers call it empiricism, attorneys call it empirical evidence.

Since we are offering each other advice, I recommend an English class.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 good post nice seeing someone on here with knowledge and doesn't hate on nice cars regardless of they are original or cloned! I think some of the 68 models were ordered through COPO with the upgraded suspension, 140mph speedo, and a few other odds and ends but not with the 427 Yenko still installed that, chevrolet didn't start that until the 69 model.

  • such a nice car I don't know why youtube has to have so many hater on here it's not like he's trying to say it's a #'s matching Yenko. personally I would rather have something like this vs. a real Yenko...you can drive this car, rip this car all day long (if you want), and never really damage the value of the car like you would with an original Yenko. BTW I like the stance of that car what type of suspension did it have and what are the tire/wheel sizes?

  • @emotorclassics Not a problem...I get just as annoyed with it as you lol. I may not have a 67, but my 2010 sure is an SS/RS lol

  • @emotorclassics sorry but there is no such car. its either a yenko or an rs/ss, not both!

  • @zanrath12345 RS/SS *

  • HOLY. SHIT. i just came.

  • @TheBulldawg4life - 1969 Yenko Camaro's also came with special heat treated axle shafts to avert breakage from the massive power of the L-72 427, which was factory rated at 425 horsepower. However, when Don Yenko dyno tested the engine, he found it actually generated 450 horsepower. I know, as I used to own one.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 OK so It was an SS/RS before It was Sent to Yenko. gotcha

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 I was going off of the 1967 year because his car is the 67..but ya, he got some COPO's in 69 with power brakes, 4.10 gears (god almighty..), front stabilizer, and a high performance radiator. Also 450 horsepower is a complete joke and we all know it lol.
