Learner Awards 2010/11

The annual Greenbank College Learner Awards took place on Friday 15 July 2011, were the achievements of learners were celebrated. Guests included, The Lord Mayor, Rob Stevenson (Mersey Cabs -- event sponsor) and Mary Beaumont (16 -- 19 Manager, Employment and Skills, Liverpool City Council).

Congratulations to the following winners of departmental awards for 2010/11:

(Business Administration) Steven McMullin, (Catering) Darren Berry, (Employability) Aleisha Parry, (Fashion and Textiles) Kimberley Samat, (FJF) Grant Mutter, (Hairdressing) Olivia Stanley, (IT) Matthew Chesters, (Functional Skills English) Gary Holmes, (Functional Skills Maths) Shantelle King, (Sport) David Murray and (Sport -- Foundation Degree) Paul O'Brien.

David Murray was chosen as the overall Learner of the Year and Aleisha Parry as the Young Learner of the Year.

After the awards ceremony, staff, students and guests attended the 'end of term' party at Time Out Café / Bar, Greenbank Sports Academy.
