It's interesting to compare this to the sets where his head almost hits the ground. They are seizures, but I wonder what the electrical activity is on the inside, is it different, more subtle? It's so weird that hecan have a set like this and then a set like some of the previous vids I posted on YouTube. You almost can't even see it...eyes slightly widen, some staring, chin quivers a little. SO strange.

In fact, if you didn't have experience seeing this kind of thing you'd miss it. It's in the eyes, a subtle head movement, chin, stare. I can even see just before he 'comes out of it'. Weird.

  • this was such a helpful video thank you for posting it. my son has ben doing similar movements like your son in this video the only thing is that sometime mine has this rapid blinking and also it goes along with his arms stretching like punches in sets of 3s havent been able to catch it on video always miss it by seconds and it wont repeat as often as your sons they had done a EEG when he was

  • @MIDNIGHTLOVE404 The EEG will tell you everything you need to know. Good luck to you and your son.

  • This was extraordinary video in that I am totally unfamiliar with this kind of seizure activity but could clearly pinpoint when his brain released him from the seizure. he is an adorable child and I hope that whatever medical intervention you have reached out for has been a help.

  • @vsibirsky It has. We discovered a brain tumor and have since had it removed. The seizures stopped soon after. There have been repercussions of course, and lots of delays, but the seizures themselves are gone. He will most likely though always have some kind of developmental disability. I write about it at a blog called blogzilly if you ever want to google it.

  • is her eyes bulging or it just me?

  • @FilmFig She is a he and no his eyes don't bulge at all. This video is from 2009, the seizures were stopped in August of 2009 with brain surgery (they were being caused by a tumor).

  • what a cute little one!! i can see them sometimes.. i think because i know a boy with West syndrome and he's doing that somtimes. they are like really small ones...

  • 3months of age and they found nothing i'm schedule to take him in again for another one since he has been showing much more of this symptoms your son is adorable

I looked at it, but I am in no way an 'expert'. If the EEG is clean, though, I would suspect it is not a seizure, but that doesn't mean it ISN'T. I have heard of seizures being not-recordable by standard EEG. Have you looked into something called a MEG. It is the very latest technology in brain scanning when EEG is simply not good enough. My son? He's gone through a LOT since this video, the full story on Bennett I maintain on a blog called Blogzilly.
