Sorry to hear he didn't make it. Your videos may help someone - thanks for keeping them out here.

My chi/beagle is on phenobarbitol and she is always licking! I never really thought it was related to the meds though. The only things she licks is people though, she'll lick me most often, any part of my body until it's soaked and then the sofa or bed if she can't get more skin... It's pretty bad.

I hope he'll be okay.

Our greyhound mix Emma does a licky thing, too. It's not all the time. She'll lick the air and, sometimes, lick everything she can off the floor. Of course, then she throws up. I've wondered if it is related to her epilepsy or the phenobarbital. She is on 72mg (3/4 of a 97mg tablet) in the morning and 48mg (1/2 a tablet) in the evening since she seems to have seizures more in the morning and early afternoon. She used to be on 1/2 tablet twice a day until activity became more frequent.

I never did figure out why he licked the air and floors but i believe it had something to do with the epilepsy, or maybe the phenobarb. He weighed 55 lbs and was on 150 mg Pb twice a day (BID), but i had to stop it because his liver went bad from it. Long story short, he didn't make it, but i'm hoping he's finally ok now, wherever he is.

He looked like he lost a lot of weight in this video. I am trying not to be mean, but I just thought you'd notice.

Well, he's no pork chop but i think what you're seeing are the results of a bad haircut. If i ever get inspired maybe i'll go to beauty school and learn how to do it right!
