Brick & Unbrick Acekard2i Firmware Update

A short video demonstrating how to brick and unbrick your Acekard2i with many lapses in my thinking (the time is WAY early in the morning and it is COLD TT-TT, so sorry about the shaking).

am i bricked cause it worked then when i tried to update it says error please restart and it has an error code

@pokerus230 I kind of can't understand your situation :/...So your DSi is giving you an error. Did you update your DSi before updating your AK2i...or did you update your AK2i and then it stopped working without doing anything to the DSi...or did you happen to update with the wrong file ._. ...Not that it really changes what you have to do. You just need to find a way to reflash it (just need a working flashcart to reflash it).

@clubpenguinmarioify Exactly. There is absolutely no way for you to unbrick your AK2i with only said bricked AK2i. You need a second flashcart able to run the firmware update .nds file in order to unbrick.

i got acekard2i but is stuck on 55% with update

@hellzaku Stuck at 55% o.o...That is a strange one. If you can, reflash your Acekard, maybe get a fresh update file (just in case the one you used was somehow corrupted or something), and make sure that your flashcart is well in place (though how someone would be able to know is beyond me), and possibly keep your DS stable while updating to make sure that it doesn't shake the flashcart and ruin things. Apart from that, I can't think of any other ideas (maybe try an older update).

@Jurassicplayer na just forget it i figured it out i wasnt formated i mean the m sd wasnt fat 32 thanks for asking though

@nebg7 It shouldn't matter what the second flashcart is, it just has to be able to run the NDSL version update and you need to have the ability to hotswap (DSLite/DSPhat). Just follow what I did for reflashing the AK2i (instead of the DSTWO that I used, just use your R4i).

help me please i have and a second flashcard but it is an r4i i will have just to put the update file in the r4i and then put my acekard plz tell me i dont want to pay to get a new acekard
