In July of 2005 I arranged a trip with Jackson Hole Mountain Guides to climb Grand Teton with three teenagers from WY on scholarship. The trip ended up being a memorial, of sorts, to Jim Ratz. Jim was one of three owners of JHMG before tragically dying in a climbing accident the previous winter near his residence in Lander. Two of the teenage climbers were friends with Jim's kids. Jim is one of the founders of Leave No Trace outdoor ethics. This video is dedicated to him. The music is from Jonathan Livingston Seagull (Neil Diamond), "Safe In My Lover's Arms" by Russian bluegrass group Bering Strait, "Shine" by Christian group The Newsboys and Bill Whelan's Riverdance. Much thanks to the dedicated guides @ JHMG for enabling me to have one of the most memorable experiences of my life. You guys are the best!
