Frank Beard, Texas BigBeat 2008, Terry Bozzio solo, Cook Ele

Texas BigBeat is a drumming charity event raising funds for Cherish Our Children International (COCI) for educational programs in the greater Houston area and Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation (MHOF) for musical instruments for schools in the greater Houston area. Texas BigBeat 2008 was held at George Ranch Historical Park arena and pavilion.

Isn't it ironic that Frank Beard has no beard, but Gibbons and Hill have some very, very long beards?

That pisses me off. That guy is brilliant and he has roots and knowledege. He aint simple, but played the best ideas for the music. People in general have no concept into what it takes to construct a great, memorable drum part. If it is subtle, they miss it and dismiss it as simple.Lotsa skill and talent go unnoticed. Frank is a legend and a prototype player responsible in helping to shape alot of the approaches that much younger drummers use today.
