I tend to prefer electro-ambient (specifically, Steve Roach), as it is generally 'pitched' content, harmonically chromatic, even non-tonal, and often 'a-rhythmic'. So, yes, some of my 'experience' is that I've formally studied music - but largely because I 'knew' these things already, I just had no developed understanding of them.

Pitched or no, a lot of sounds occuring I call a 'sonic experience'. It is not music. This here is barely music.

I also have to agree with you, but I'm kinda new to HC, started listening to it in 2009, after years of house, hardstyle and so on, I guess you are more experienced which I can take from your post.

But for example Qotile is a nice tune which I cant find a related track. Artists like Art of Fighters have a lot of new stuff which sounds all to similiar. No offense.

  • This song gives me fucking goosebumps!

  • @MrSteel801 no just richie gee and rob gee and lenny dees set

  • @inyourfacedouchebag i wanted to make it to that party so bad. you know of any videos on the net that are up from his set or satronica's?

  • @aculturemind I enjoy listening to gabber, hardstyle or hardcore; but I agree with you 100%. There is almost no variation in sounds. There isn't much to be said about hardcore other than 90% of the material sounds the same. I just think it amps people up, puts them in a different mood.

As I said to someone just above you: It's pretty boring. Something about new age and kiddie metal - always minor, utterly diatonic keys that have no substance, and no motion.

    Ignorant, eh?

  • @adj1ful

No. It's pretty boring. Something about new age and kiddie metal - always minor, utterly diatonic keys that have no substance, and no motion.
