If you think that your child may have ADHD, the amount of support available -- for them and for you -- has improved dramatically over the last two decades.
As well as a sympathetic and thorough evaluation from your doctor there are also several groups set up to provide clear information and practical and emotional help.
In this film, Dr Jeremy Turk, who's spent over 20 years working with children and families living with ADHD, talks through what you can expect from your GP -- and from the wider healthcare community.
This video has been produced by Janssen to raise awareness about ADHD and offer advice to parents of children with the condition in seeking help. It was recorded as part of a campaign to generate discussion about ADHD and provide an environment of knowledge sharing among parents, teachers, HCPs and support groups.
