Top 10 NES Games #1: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Super Mario Bros. 1 just SUCKS, so I've changed my mind and made one of the most beloved classics on the NES my number 1 spot.

REVIEW:

Now, most people will not agree, but I consider this the greatest title on the NES. The graphics are awesome, so is the music, and the gameplay, is, well, nothing short of amazing. Basically, you're Dr. Jekyll, and everyone is out to get you and you have nothing to defend yourself. Then you die, and turn into Mr. Hyde, which is really cool, but then five seconds later, you get hit by lightning and it's game over. It's nothing short of the greatest game ever made. I love it.

Welll you need to avoid death long enough so mr. hyde can avoid dr. jekyll by killing as much enemies as possible. I do have to admit that it has crappy controls bu the graffics are kind of good and the music is catchy but over all its a bad game

Here's why it's the best game ever made. It's more than a game, it exposed the dual nature of the human spirit. The only way to win the game is to be Jekyll, but you want to be Hyde so you can shoot shit. It's a constant battle between good and evil, and Jekyll must stay farther along his path than Hyde. If Hyde gains the lead, then evil will triumph over good, and that's the true conflict to the human soul!

And to deny the evil completely would only force into the subconscious mind, like a city broken into different social classes. People don't want to step outside their own bounderies, like Jekyll wandering into the wrong section of town, he's unwelcome! Neverteless he must abide by his own good nature. No wonder the cane doesn't work. The game does not reward you for acting upon your malevelent intentions. It's a proposed guideline for setemorality rules to be programed in real life!

It uses the Victorian Era as a fundemental depiction of outward respectability, and inward lust! It's a metaphore for social and geographical fragmentaion! It elutes the Freud Theory of Represion, in which unexceptable desired or impulses are excluded from the conscious mind, and left to operate on their own in unconscious! Or you can just say, "THE GAME FUCKIN' SUCKS!!"
