  • lol!! tradional methods are for pansies!!

  • i just shit bricks :D thats the manliest was ever to carve a violin...

  • Need to drink more of that beer mate and get a girlfriend who likes a good shaggin'.

  • @RobinGoesUTube He's not British... Learn your accents.

  • @GuitarViols Ya, I thought the Makita was a bit crazy until now. The Mikita is like a nail buffer compared to the chain saw and axe. haha

  • Love it! I actually use a Makita angle grinder for carving necks, Tops and backs.

Life is too short for long handed monkey work of material removal. If it is hand to tool to wood, it is still skilled hand work!

  • Awesome! Nice work, I would love to see your techniques for carving scrolls.

As a classical guitar maker and someone who heats with wood that i cut from my woodlot..... I am inspired to get my 18" Stihl chainsaw out of my woodshed and into my shop. Thank you for that, I think.

  • I'll be getting this instructional video to Harry Vatiliotis.

He's always looking for new ideas and innovative methods.

  • ...ah! David Burgess!

  • Sorry but this just wouldn't cut it here in Scotland. In the land of the brave we build our fiddles with girders -- and angle grinders.
