http://www.TheBoaters.TV EP 48 - First up today: Celebrating Steve Fossett's Life

Multimillionaire adventurer Steve Fossett mysteriously disappeared with the small airplane he was flying solo in northern Nevada on Labor Day.

On Tuesday of this week, the search for Fossett was suspended for the second time after renewed efforts last weekend proved unsuccessful.

While we still like to hold onto hope, at The Boaters TV, we wanted to celebrate

Mr. Fossett and the impact he has had on the boating world as an accomplished sailor, adventurer, and record holder.

Fossett holds an incredible number of world records in sailing, as well as various forms of aviation.

We send our best to family and friends. Most certainly, Steve Fossett's is a life to be honored and celebrated.

Next up, it's our BoatTEST Feature of the Week: The Mustang Survival Jacket Personal Floatation Device (PFD)

And finally today: Introducing Inflatable Personal Watercraft (PWC)

For those who think JetSkis and Waverunners are a bit too scary, this Electric Inflatable Scooter might be the place to start.

This batterty powered, sit-down, waverunner-like inflatable runs on a 600 watt electric motor powered by a 36-volt battery.

IconTech Limited begins distributing the product in the U.S this month, with an expected retail price being $499.

For more information about the product, please visit http://www.InflatableBoat.com

TheBoaters TV, hosted by Julie Perry, airs every M, W, and Friday on our vlog at http://www.TheBoaters.TV - also available on iTunes.

  • Is it possible that he was done in on the ranch and his plane was flown below radar and disposed of? His cell phone would have

some data of calls attempting to find him.

Crash Locator beacons should be manually activated prior to crashing.

  • thanks for using clips from my video here on youtube (video 1 and google earth views.) we hope he will be found, I feel confident my information could be correct, time will tell I guess.
