Believe me, I consider myself lucky for going to the 1990 tournament and was lucky to go to the 1st and 2nd rounds in San Jose this year.
-
@SFFOOL76 yeah, this year was second best in my book. for me, 1990 will always be the best because of so many buzzer beater games and loyola marymounts run to the elite 8. consider yourself fortunate to be able to attend those games.

I thought the 2010 was a solid tournament also. The 1990 Tournament was great to watch, I was able to attend the West Regional Sweet 16 Game with Loyola Marymount vs. Alabama & UNLV vs. Ball State. Both 2 point games and excellent played basketball.

@SFFOOL76 not only played in the nba but anderson and scott were both top 5 picks. I wish someone would post this whole game.

@SFFOOL76 don't forget malcolm mackey was their center and he was a 1st round pick a couple of years later. two extremely talented teams who were a 4 and 5 seed? the 1990 tourney was the best ever in my book.

How blind of me to forget how talented Georgia Tech was that year. All of the members of "Lethal Weapon 3" all played in the NBA. In my opinion if you make the NBA regardless how your career was , you're pretty f'n talented. I would take the 1990 Georgia Tech team over the 2004 Georgia Tech team in a heartbeat.

@SFFOOL76 no kidding. they had Shaq, stanley roberts, and chris jackson. 2 legit 7 footers who were lottery picks and jackson was a lottery pick who led nation in scoring. GT was no slouch either.

Thanks for posting this, nothing against G.T but how in the heck was LSU a #5 seed with all that talent. I mean Dale Brown got a overachieving team go get to the final four and final 8 the next year (86' & 87 respectively)
before steph curry, there was dennis scott
