@999rahim if you release the buttons, the OS reset will not be successful and will not influence the current software.

...try plan B and you will have no problems (read my comm bellow). ;)

@999rahim and there is another way, if you don't want to reset your phone. Go to: Menu > Tools > app. mgr (aka application manager but in my case i move it to application menu, is not in tools anymore ), search the name of that application (it will have the specification "not installed" ), choose "option" and than "remove". this procedure is not 100% successful guaranteed , the "reset" one is 100% guaranteed. Success!

@999rahim ehe :) that's piece of cake. Is not necessary to install update or a new firmware. You must make a "factory reset". Save your important data on your PC, your contacts on SIM or with Nokia PC siute or better with outlook . Format the mass 8gb storage.Now. Plan A.: press *#7780# if you don't know your lock code(default is 12345) plan B: turn off your phone, press : * + call + 3 , open the phone and DO NOT RELEASE THE BUTTONS until it ask you to choose your country. Now is 100% clean ;)

@999rahim The improv. announced are only a bait. If you use it only for calling is ok,but if you use 3rd part applications you will be sorry.They want to control of the 3rd part app. and "certificate" part .That's why users don't have DOWNGRADE firmw, nokia force the clients to use the last one.Is UNFAIR.If you need applications, DON'T DO IT! I'm sorry that i did it .I have some bugs,and a lot of application are not working anymore. i'll contact a gsm service :(, nokia plays with my money.
