  • Them Challengers are heavy Tons of power but very heavy... They just need to throw a supercharger on it and even the playing field a little bit. If the tuners can use boost the muscle cars should to..

  • Yeah, because "throwing a supercharger on it" is as simple as it sounds...

  • 13.55 for a stock car is damn good, especially when it weighs as much as an SUV.

  • No offense, but a stock STI never makes more poweror torque anywhere in it power band than the 6.1L engine. looking at dyno graphs from searching on the net, the Challenger has 100ftlbs more torque available down low than the sti has at its peak. Seriously thouhg, the STI advantage is in the AWD and weight, and this STI was not stock to be able to come from a deficit. Both are good cars, but seriously, Turbo cars most certainly do not make power sooner than NA cars.

  • @bigassfordsd 13.3 is stock for an sti

  • @GL3NE actually it is if you have the cash.

  • @killernoob3 Srt8 goes for but new sti's go for 45 thousand so your money argument makes no sense since there are lots of expensive vehicles with small efficient engines.

  • @killernoob3 Lol is that why every car manufacturer is turning to smaller engines? 2014 corvette, ford f-150 ecoboost, lotus Elise and exige, etc. lol typical of someone to argue bigger is better but just like everything else in the world engines are becoming smaller and more efficient hence a 2.5l beating and engine over double the size. Give it 10 years then you will agree. I don't know what an srt

  • @17etnies smaller engines are a better choice if you dont have money. if youve got money to burn NOTHING beats the bigger motors.

  • @bigassfordsd the sti didnt launch properly it should have been farther ahead than that with awd. most manufacturers are realizing smaller engines with power adders (mostly turbos because of efficiency) are a better choice than big heavy NA engines.

  • @JohnnyVersion1 OR lose the huge engine and all the extra weight.....

  • The Subie was definitely modified to run 13.3 with such a crappy launch. Although turbo cars don't make power sooner, max tq is around 3k rpm which is more than low enough for any kind of racing.

  • I bet shafar hasn't built the best for 1 the fastest street car in the world is a muscle car a 1965 ford for that matter and it does 6.95 in the mile so please do n0ot imply that any tuner can beat that because in reality no one has beat that ijn a tuner and I own a Camaro so i'm rooting for American muscle.

  • @GL3NE

yup, depending what other mods are there... you have to forge parts...
