  • There will never be another George Younce. Just the best bass ever. Never crossed over like the Statler's but was better.

  • I think your terribly confused about the message of this song. Instead of spreading your racist blubberings why don't you just enjoy the good word being sung.

  • Hi Guys! Darn, seams like much adoo about nothing, but why can't people just enjoy the music however it might be sung. We got to see Y'all so many times ,this brings back so many good memories. We got to see Signature Sound and the Gaithers.Just terrific concerts thanks for the music.Thank Jesus for the music & salvation no matter what the race. Love Y'all Dan

  • I love this song. Best ever.

  • Gee, I thought it was about receiving the salvation provided by the Lord God Almighty through the shed blood, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I guess I missed the whole color thing.

  • So some people are saying it's racist for a white person to sing a black song in a different arrangement. What about "Oh, Happy Day"? That's a white song, but it is most popular in black churches. I'm all against racism and everything, but isn't it racism if one race is allowed to do something another can't? Food for thought.

  • @SimaZao What in the world did I say to inspire you to reply like this. I am not racist and said nothing racist. I just said the Statler Brothers crossed over from gospel to popular music and George Younce stayed gospel.

  • Danny Funderburk at his best!

  • This might be the greatest line-up in Southern Gospel history.

  • Yes, George was the best!
