I do believe by letting both guitarists play a solo, they have successfully shattered Syu's opposing guitarist. I mean, if I had to play on the same stage as Syu I'd just say say "Fuck it, you take all the solo's, I'll prove my worth as a rhythm guitarist for you." Even then, he'd decimate you on rhythm when he doesn't need to be shredding. Long story short.
