    This helped a lot. I Didn't realize until now that ANT was an alternative theory to TD and SCOT models, the readings were too verbose to make sense of. Now feeling much more confident for my exam!

    The fact they cannot be separated does not mean they are equals. For instance take sharks and the ramora fish that stay with them. They create a system...The shark needs the fish to clean them and the fish to eat and be protected by the sharks. They create a perfect systems but they are not in any chance considered equals! This happens to anything in nature! Codependence does not mean equality always!

    The difference between the two become apparent though the nature of their connections in the network. For instance, you can analyze many systems though a network, the trophic activity of an ecosystem being one of them. A rock that is made of a special material that influences the growth of a particlular plant would be important to represent in this trophic network-model -- the same is true of non-human actors...just because they're not human doesn't mean they don't have agency.
