This adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy is so sweet with all these confusions of love. And Toby Stephens gives a brilliant Duke Orsino.
Music: Loreena McKennitt 'The Dark Night of the Soul'

  • This film is considered to be one of the best interpretations of Shakespeare.

    The acting is brilliant.

At the time of the film's release Toby Stephens was 27, handsome, charming.

    Amazing Loreena McKennitt. Great video!

  • Helena!!! =]

  • Świetny film!

  • May I ask, to "PATRICIA89", what a 35 year old young woman is supposed to look like? A sucker for the commercial stuff we're bombarded with these days to hoodwink us into thinking we exactly know the age of women (and for women to therefore get insecure even at 29.) If you smoked and drunk, ate bad food, and lay in the sun all day however, you won't look a good civilised modern 35 at 35. (rarr, rarr, sorry for being so rude...) As for the film, it's topsxx

  • Can you believe that the leading actress of this film (the one that played Viola) was 35 years old at that time? I mean, I thought she was in her early twenties! She looks so much younger than her real age in this film! Well, however, this is one of my favorites movies ever, I simply loved it! Everything! One of the best adaptations of one of the best comedies by Shakespeare.

  • Toby Stephens is beautiful.....sometimes when you look at him he looks so much like his mother, then take another look and he's very much his father's son.

  • beautifully done :')

  • Imogen Stubbs was incredible, absolutely wowing

  • This is such a beautiful movie portrayed in a way that truly captures the hearts of all shakespeare fans. Beautifully done.
